Kingston - IMG_3332a This is a promissory note, issued by the German Government in 1922, in an attempt to raise funds to rebuild Germany after World War I, and to pay war reparations. These notes, no longer have any, actual, cash value - only an historical value of a time and a place, when the war to end all wars broke out (at least it was believed to be, at that time).

Nothing was printed on the rear, which was common for most of these type notes, printed in that era. Suitable for mounting in an 8 X 10 frame of your choosing. Will ship USPS first class (ground delivery), to anywhere in the continental USA. Also, makes an unusual gift.
